Beans. New Research to Address Confusion & Drive Behavior Change

Eating more beans could be the next hot food trend to sweep the nation, but not until “bean confusion” is cleared up among consumers.

With the 2010 Dietary Guidelines looming in the near future, this session will first examine dietary policy to explore how beans have been portrayed through the years, with recommendations for the future. This will be followed by a presentation on two relatively new consumer research techniques, and will apply those learnings to a key audience and the bean category.
